Escrow sends check to India?

    Hi,

    I am going into a transaction with escrow and I just want to know if any of You had any experience with Escrow.

    1) Do they send the money on time?
    2) Do they send by check to India?
    A) How long does it take.
    b) How long does the clearing of dollar check takes and what is %cost in terms of bank charges by ICICI, HDFC etc.

    3) How does wire transfer work for them? Can i have escrow wire transfer to HDFC or ICICI?


    PS: I am worried because opening account on Escrow was very straight forward..

    Thanks for the helpful Info. I was looking at personal experience to get some comfort at recieving 30K by check from escrow.
