Once an escrow transaction is complete, can the buyer turn their back for any reason and take legal action? For example, the transaction is done, everything was sent, the deal closes and payment goes to seller but profits don't pan out and buyer decides he wants a refund.
There's always an avenue for legal action if the buyer feels they were defrauded. Some things take time to realize, and even escrow can't prevent it. The fact that escrow was used would go a long way for a defence, but they could still take legal action which would result in a lot of expenses in court or arbitration.
I have used escrow.com a few times as buyer, and got burnt pretty bad once. I like the protocols of escrow.com but when it came to trying to do something about my burn I couldn't even get an email reply.
