Escrow.com or SEDO.com.... Safe or not safe?

Is using Escrow.com or SEDO.com safe to sell a domain?

I have a potential arrangement with somone I am not entirely sure I should trust. However I'd like to do a deal with them and make sure that everything goes smooth. I'm selling a domain.

What makes you not trust them? I've never had a problem with escrow.com for domain/website sales.

 

Well the person I am working with is someone I don't know very well and they don't have the best reputation. I don't want to point fingers at them or blame them for anything because I don't really know the details of their other arrangements, I just want to be sure I am safe in the transaction.

Yes!!! I am having a GOOD experience with escrow.com. It helps us to protect our money as well as the digital product. For selling domains, I always prefer escrow.com.

 

Escrow.com is really safe infact it takes time but then atleast the risk is gone

 

I have read on many forums about escrow.com and everywhere I have read it is recommended.

 

I talked with escrow.com yesterday. If you transfer website files to him and later he did not pay you and he rejects saying it is not good, then files will be left with him.

Escrow.com said prove it and get it. How can you prove files?

I am having a bad feeling over this...

 

I used escrow.com several times for moving domain names: no problems whatsoever.
