hmm..try to go into google wbc and put in the regional settings as well as getting a ton of UK regional links with your UK IP in hosting....maybe itll work, dinnae for sure...

Why not get a .uk domain? Anyway, not sure, but you may try. Get a UK based hosting, get back links from sites with .uk extension, use the option "Set geographic target" in google webmaster tools. May be it will work.
