Errors With Submission Of New Geo Sitemap To Google Webmaster

    I created two files today using geositemapgenerator.com free tool to submit too google webmaster and getting some errors.

    Here are the errors I am getting with google webmaster sitemap submissions


    /geositemap.xml / Invalid XML tag / This tag was not recognized. Please fix it and

    /locations.kml / Unsupported file format / Your Sitemap does not appear to be in a supported format. Please ensure it meets our Sitemap guidelines and resubmit.

    first of all, the extension you mensioned above is not xml format(location.kml), you need to submit your sitemap in the form of xml format only, also open you sitemap in the IE, it will show you which tag is creating a problem in your sitemap.
