Can anyone tell my why the following error is received while opening a new thread in Services and including a link in the post:

    The following error occurred:
http://www.domain.com/page/ is a redirect to http://www.domain.com/ZZSUp/page/ (use the destination URL instead)

I have been trying with http without http but the same issue.
    Any suggestions?

Redirects are not allowed on DP to avoid affiliate marketing spam, etc.

It should allow you to post if you post it without http:// and without www. Granted your link isn't going to be clickable but that's the only way you can go about it in this case.

There really is no better way to describe the issue beyond what the error message already gave you.

I know that redirect links are not allowed.

The thing is that the link is not a redirect is the destination link.
I have tried with and without http:// and www but it's the same. Sometimes the error message is: http://www.domain.com/page/ is a redirect to http://www.domain.com/page/ (use the destination URL instead) which is the same link.

Could be this a forum error? Do you have more ideas on this issue?

Your doing something wrong. It has to looks like this:

    goo.gl/FuiKCR

The URL above will take you to backpage.com if you copy and paste it into your browser.

I can't see how your URL would be any different. Note: it has no http:// and no www.
