error while creating community website.

    i am creating a community website using drupal while adding some modules i faced an error:
    "Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 18874368 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 50 bytes) in /hermes/bosweb/web225/b2257/ipg.accessarenacom/comm/includes/menu.inc on line 2328"
    can anyone tell me that whats the problem is? plz help me.

    Increase your memory size limit in php.ini.

    you can increase it in php.ini, in settings.php or in .htaccess if I'm not mistaken
