Bug Error Updating Paypal Link

    Hello,

I went to the Third Party Accounts page to update my PayPal Link (as I don't understand why I still can't view the transaction details through DP) and there was an error on return to the DP page through PayPal:

It still shows as linked, but comes up with an error message that it is not (when I click on a link for the transaction):

And still shows up as linked in the Third Party Accounts page:

I guess removing the link and re-adding it will "resolve" the link error message (although I have a feeling not the permissions one), but still thought I would mention it as this doesn't really seem to be how it should work (so I thought it was worth reporting).

Hmmm... Does it work if you unlink first?

What type of PayPal account is it?

Now it shows PayPal not linked without me doing anything (I've been away for about an hour). I've just re-linked it.

My PayPal is a verified one, account type Premier and a UK one, too. I've had it for many years, at least since June 2003.

Honestly... I have no clue what's up with your PayPal account. First you couldn't see transactions, and now you can't even link it and PayPal is returning null data (not an error, just NOTHING) when a query is made.

Try unlinking your PayPal account here, then double check in PayPal that it's unlinked (remove the link in PayPal if it's still there) here: https://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/customerprofileweb?cmd=_profile-remove-authorization

Then try to link again. PayPal does act funny sometimes with how it does things, but I've never seen what you are experiencing other than with your account.

I think I did that before, but I will try it again.

Using the stock (PHP) code from PayPal I have no problems using their API to query transactions in my account.

Other "bugs" regarding PP (or so they are in view):

    1. 7U865753LY027683T shows as paid, but also pending (on the payment history page, second screenshot).
    2. I was able to leave feedback on 7U865753LY027683T, despite the confusion of DP.

You used the Adaptive Payments API?
