If you export your PPC campaign from Google by using AdWords Editor and exporting a CVS file, then importing into AdCenter, you may get this error message:

The maximum subdomains has been exceeded.

NO ONE at Microsoft could figure out this error message over the past two months. Here is why it occurs. If you have negative domains in Google they cannot be listed a numeric websites name. For example, they cannot be in this form "196.2.120.186". They have to be in the form www.abadwebsite.com

In Microsoft adCenter Desktop, they will be imported when you import your CVS file from AdWords. Go to your campaign and click on the "Exclusions" button at the very bottom of the screen. Then highlight "Exclusions" in the left column and then click on the tab "websites". Delete any websites that have a form like "196.2.120.186". MS AdCenter cannot handle this format.

Does anyone think that this is really stupid? The least they can do is make the error message match the actual problem!

Hey, this is Microsoft, they don't believe in error messages that make sense.
