Error on my search function for some customers

Customers can search on my website for available party rentals if they type in their city or zip. I get a lot of calls saying the search results show no inflatables available. This only happens to some people. I always ask what operating system the customer is using and the answer is always Internet Explorer. I also think the customers are using older computers. I have no idea why the system is saying no inflatables found, when I have a couple available.

You can test this by going to my website, www.jumpness.com, and using the zip code 48380. If you see available inflatables the error isn't happening for you. If you get the error, what computer are you using and which operating system?

Something like this is causing lost sales considering the majority of my customers book online. If anyone has an idea of why this is happening I would greatly appreciate it.

Well - first thing, if I paste in the zip, and press enter, it shows "no rentals found", regardless of browser. However, if I wait, and chose the city from the drop-down showing, it will show inflatables in both IE and Firefox.
You might wanna fix the logic so that it displays based on just zip as well, or at least inquire if they've maybe done what I did the first time around in IE, namely paste the zip (or type it) and just press enter.

It is very interesting to see that this thread was created back in 2010. I am assuming that the above person answered this thread because it was bumped? (Strange to bump a thread that was created 3 years ago). Coming to the original question, when I pasted the same zip, I did not see any results but when I selected the city shown in the drop-down, the results showed up (Google Chrome).
On another note, how does this business work? I mean how could one gather the availability of these many party rentals spanned all over the US? Or does the site just book the rental from the users and outsource it to local party rentals? If later is the case, obviously this rental would cost more and why would any user book on this website when he/she can get it cheaper locally?
I am really curious and confused. Someone please enlighten me.

Hey guys, I meant to delete the post to get rid of the link, but didn't see the option. When it said edit/bump I meant to edit then delete. My bad. If someone can let me know how to delete I'd appreciate it.

FYI nhed, you can see how the business works if you search for Milford, Michigan. I just launched it and will be working with other companies in the country. I have features on the backend to help them manage their business. I'll also book rentals for their company when people call the number. The rentals cost the same as they would from the local business for the customer. They can just see all available rentals offered by local businesses at once. A lot of companies do it part time and can't answer the phone during the day since they have a full time job. So, my business is really helping smaller businesses manage and grow. Think 1-800-dentist, but for party rentals. I literally just launched the new site and was working on getting rid of certain backlinks.
