Well, the first time I install phpLD on wwws.org I got this error message. (see picture) Then some how I got rid of it and was able to access the admin. Then as I started allowing people to submit, some weren't able to submit because there was an error. After using the submit form, a submitter would get an error saying "You are not authorize" [IMG]etc,.. So what I did just now is saved my database and deleted the whole thing and reinstall.

Now. I get the same message when I login to the admin (see picture)

Has anyone have encounter any of this? The words on error itself is an error.(read it)

Same error that you would get if you enetered the wrong password...Username and Password are correct. I tried re installing and created a new database with new username and new administrator name and password and no luck yet.

I did it before, wish I could remember. Will try again...Kinda strange.

Try totally fresh install and if it still gives error check file permissions and upload files again, if still the issue, it can be your host issue but i doubt any of the other hostgator customers had this issue before.

So re-upload files in binary and see if it still does the same. It could be just that your old database is corrupted.

yup create a new database and delete the previous installation and reinstall it. hope it'll be fixed. I have never encountered with this problem before, I have my site hosted with bluehost, dreamhost, hostgator and asmallorange, all are phpld v3.1, so its not a problem with your hosting (if your hosting is any one of the above).

This is now my 4th phpld 3.1 none of the other 3 gave me as much problem as this. I did all that...fresh install, created a new database and username.

It cant be the database as I got that same error message the very first time i ever installed it on wwws.org, then some how I got it working, then an error a user get after clicking the Submit button, I get that too, then it went away, then back again...weird.

Anyways, working now...I gave up on 3.1 and installed 3.06 instead.

I'm trying to install phpld version 2.1 in my host as a subdomain but when I run install/index.php, it opens on choosing the language but when I click n the next button below, nothing happens. Please help...

Is it something to do with being just a subdomain?

Not sure if having a sub.domain.com or domain.com/sub makes any difference. But I have read somewhere where sub.domain.com might not work well? Someone will clarify this.

    From the help file.
