error message displayed while settingup coop

    I have a website which is made with php code. I have added the .txt file and .php file to the main directory of the website. I am getting the following error and is being displayed at the top of the home page of the website:

    You must set the ad network .txt file to be writable (or file is not within path).

    I am a novice to the coop network. I would appreciate any help with this error.

    CHMOD your text file to 777, thats is what meant by "writable"

    Also make sure the number is the same.

    If your code is calling for _224

    Make sure your text file is _224

    I have done the CHMOD to 777, I am getting this error again. Is there anything else that I need to do?

    Maybe try putting the full file name within the ad_network.php file : /home/user/public_html/somedirectory/filename.

    I have put ad_network.php in public_html directory. It still doesn't work and gives me a message.

    Do I need to first have text ad or banner ad created at ad network website for this to work? Are they related? I have put up an ad at ad network website.

    Please clarify.
