Error message: Can not reach or create database. User shoppdc has no create datab...

    Ok I'm trying to install Noah's Classifieds, a free classified ad script. I created my database (I have GoDaddy hosting), but then it gives me this error message:
    PHP 4 has been found.
    Config file can be created.
    MySQL has been found.
    Cookies are enabled.
    Can not reach or create database. User shoppdc has no create database permission, or cannot reach the database. Change the name of the user or give him appropriate rights!

    Is there a way I can fix this? Please help if you can, I would like to get this thing started ASAP.

    Did you add a user to your database after you created it?

    I don't know how to...
    But when I created the database it asked me for a username and password, so made the username "shoppdc". That's creating a user, right?

    yes but the username (most of the time) consists of 2 parts: youraccountname_username and the same goes for the database : youraccountname_databasename.
    I have really not used Godaddy's panel so I can only guess

    Ok my teacher helped me find the problem. I just had the wrong databse name :eek:
