Hello DP members! A few days ago I needed to create a sitemap for an italian website ( http://www.isolmantova.it ), so I went to http://www.xml-sitemaps.com/ and I generated it. Now, when I go to google webmaster tool it says it has some errors but it doesn't tell me any other details. Could you please check out this sitemap http://www.isolmantova.it/sitemap.xml ? Thank you
Strange as it passed validation without any major issues. This is the one I use: http://www.auditmypc.com/free-sitemap-generator.asp I would try a different generator, replace the file, resubmit to google and check 24 hours later to see what's up.
I tried other few sitemap generator during the previous days, but all the sitemaps were built with errors. Anyone can see errors on this sitemap: http://www.isolmantova.it/sitemap.xml ? Thank you.
You should review: http://www.sitemaps.org/protocol.php You are using below.... <urlset xmlns="http://www.google.com/schemas/sitemap/0.84"> Code (markup): And it should be.... <urlset xmlns="http://www.sitemaps.org/schemas/sitemap/0.9"> Code (markup): This should fix your issue; also review the information regarding modified frequency, priority, etc and see that is only a suggestion and not really required,

Well there! I have already checked your sitemap.xml file It requires a whole revamp, just that tag might not help. However, you can try it out. But if it doesn't help (which I am a bit sure of) let me know!
You get used to post padding around here. Folks like posting nonsense stuff like that in an attempt to get their counts up so they can hop over to BST and start selling stuff. Feel free to report it. It's against the rules.
