Err, PR4 with several thousand cached pages = weight of 6?

When I try to validate/calculate weight for this (and a couple other sites I added this morning) I'm getting a weight of 6 (and similar numbers on other sites). Anyone else experiencing similar behavior?

I have a weight of 3 with a PR5 and 2104 pages indexed. I don't think it is just you.

Also note that google has reindexed many of my banned sites. What changed with google has also had an effect on DPS.

Yeah... I'm curious as to which datacenter DP is using to calculate the weight. Using McDar's google tool to check the number of cached pages of my sites yields thousands and thousands on every single datacenter in every set of centers in their toolbar. Must just be crap luck that DP is using one that has only a couple pages cached.

Does anyone know if this is a change on google's side or some code change on the coop add network?

It would make sense why impressions aren't going down if everyone is losing weight so you will remain at the same footing. Your ratio of weigt compared to others remains the same even though it dropped.

well i'm 2 days into linkvault now, so i'll keep every1 posted. Got fed up with weight not working in the coop. I now deal in volts. More electrified you are now apposed to how fat you are...

The admins of DP should stop being so precious about discussing weight issues. If theres a problem let us know. Otherwise they'll head over to get categorized static links from link vault.

    Check it out: Link Vault

Shawn - I know you guys say you don't answer weight questions, but something is obviously wrong here.....

    Thanks,

Yes, something is wrong. The DP tool that checks backlinks, PR, etc. is reporting static numbers, my main site has shown 62,900 pages indexed and a PR5 for several weeks or months, and supposedly that goes by the same API that the coop weight calculation goes by (correct me if I'm wrong).

I had 22K+ of weight go down to 700 or so, and revalidating would sometimes fluctuate 100 to 300 either way, I just try a few times a day. Today my weight went down to 445, then on the next revalidation a couple seconds later it shot up to 12,115. Not near what it used to be, but sure beats 700, so I won't touch it for a while.
