How big of a business and what are the areas you need more? Oracle is better at financials I believe, while SAP is stronger with things like supply chain management.
Ok but isn't SAP still robust in its financial capabilities? i agree though, it is a "supply chain" thing. Most supply chain managers I know are all about SAP.
Yeah... SAP can still do financial stuff, it's just not it's strong suit. Basically if you are looking for more financials and less supply chain stuff, you would lean more towards Oracle's offering.
Righto. I get what youre saying. Mate you sure know your stuff. You do this for a job or is this just a part time gig?
This would be the worst part time gig in the world... I work more than full time, and still don't have anywhere remotely close to enough time to get done what I need to do. hah
I went to the 2 week session for TERP10. I still don't know much about how the whole system works. How many TERPs do I have to get to understand and start doing stuff with SAP? I've also created apps in class for Android phones and now I am taking a class that helps us create apps for iphones. Do you guys think the SAP mobile apps will stand any chance against the apps in Apple stores?
