What is a good exercise that doesn't take much time for someone that is at the computer a lot? My bum is killing me...

My back hurts when I wake up in the morning only. Weird. It's my bum that kills when slaving away at the computer. I wish I had thought more about the physical costs of trying to make a living online.

I do stand up once in a while. I think I just need to get a better chair or something. And maybe have pre defined break times. I just am so focused , that I can lose days nearly trying to make things happen and then fixing the mistakes when they go awry!

My back and wrists bother me throughout the day, when I start feeling the "aches" coming on I usually try stretching or I use a warming vibrator pad on my back which seems to help, perhaps you could do the same with your bum or maybe an ergonomic pad used for chairs might help? :)

Buy yourself a better chair and a set of dumbells. Do curls every 15 minutes or so. I have a friend who does this, and his biceps are quite impressive now. In addition, it probably helps prevent carpal tunnel, because he gets plenty of blood pumping through his wrists while doing curls.

I actually had that idea! I have actually gone as far as bringing a set of dumbbells into the computer room, but I'll be damned if they haven't sat there on the floor just waiting for me to use them. Time to motivate myself. I don't want to be a 33 year old man with a 50 year old man's bum. Hahaha.,...
