    HI guys

I'm looking for an application with which I can draw my ERD diagrams, but also have an option or something where you can have a description for each entity table, that when printed out will print out the table and a description of the table etc.

I'm not interested in Visio, has anybody else bumped into a really good type of ERD diagram drawer.

    Did you check out Dia?

Dia is designed to serve a similar purpose to the commercial Windows program Microsoft Visio. It can be used to draw many different kinds of diagrams. It currently has special objects to help draw entity relationship diagrams, UML diagrams, flowcharts, network diagrams, and simple circuits. It is also possible to add support for new shapes by writing simple XML files, using a subset of SVG (Scalable Vector Graphics) to draw the shape.

(Boy do I want live links...)
