    Hey all,

I've been slowly building out ePursuit.net and have even been hosting my blog there. I purchased the .net because the .com was unavailable, but to be honest .net suites my plans (network) regarding the domain better anyways.

I was curious if anyone has a hard appraisal for the domain, I was a bit surprised when I was able to register it back in April. I thought for sure that it would be taken.

    Thanks,

    Paul

Pursuit is not a common word, so it doesn't surprise me that the name was not taken. But I like the combination of of e and pursuit. that's what a lot of people do on these forums. they build a site, run it for a couple of month, then try to ask for an appraisal and i think its unrealistic to ask for one so soon after development.

    How many uniques per day?
    How much from Adsense?
    Are you tracking?

Thanks for the constructive conversation, and I think that you're 100% correct about asking for a web appraisal so soon after development.

A little background about the website itself..

I owned an e-commerce site that was grossing xxx, xxx.xx within the first year. Though it was successful, that particular site wasn't for me so I decided to sell it for xx,xxx.xx a few months ago.

A couple of weeks later, I watched the movie "The Pursuit of Happiness" and I think that's what inspired my thought process around registering this particular domain name.

I'm in the process of building the site out from just the news, articles, and blog section to contain a web directory, technology job board, forum (possibly), and social network as well. I'm only able to spend about two hours per day developing the website because I also run a web design / internet consulting business and my clients are my first priority.

Currently the website receives between 150 - 300 visitors per day and has around 50 feedburner subscribers. As far as income is concerned, it only makes $2/day right now but I've also gained new clients because of it so if you factor that in to the equation... well, it has been quite lucrative.

To be honest, I'm not looking to sell the domain but noticed this sub-forum and figured what the heck. I know how to appraise websites myself but was curious what others thought the name itself might be worth, if anything.

    Thanks,

    Paul
