EPP Authorization Code

How many days it takes for a registrar to generate / provide a EPP Authorization Code for my domain?

Asking this question, because I requested EPP Authorization Code from my current registrar and they replied "We will send You the EPP code as soon as we have it generated" now it is already 3 days has passed

Which registrar are you using ? Most that I am using like Namecheap and GoDaddy has the EPP listed in my control panel so I can view them immediately. Maybe it is time you contact them again.

I guess you have to request it again. If you dont mind telling, what registrar are you using?

If you're with Namecheap I think it takes 60 days.

Seems like they changed the organization a little.

Anyways, log into your Namecheap account and at your Namecheap Home Page, on the right hand panel, you will see a 'More Link'. Click on 'Get EPP Code' then enter the domain name you want to transfer out and your password and it will list your EPP codes for those domain names.

In my registerfly account, i don't see the EPP/Auth code... i know where to find it, but the actual EPP code is missing.

I have submited a ticket and I have to see if they will reply.

    Any help?

hmmm, I thought the 2 months (60 days) is the norm for staying with a registrar before requesting to transfer out. You can however get the EPP code anytime. If you clear the 60 days being a registrar, you can move out anytime after that.

The registrar can actually create the auth/EPP code as soon as they get to it.

But if you obtained your domain name through a reseller for a registrar, you're
going to have to wait a little bit longer.

Hmm, looks like the OP finally got what s/he needed.
