I think we need to wait and see what our stats look like when they start showing us.
It might not be bad at all - after all, they will still give us the detail on what was purchased and when, right?
So there is accountability and a formula to check against our transaction logs.

It seems like it will be better to show users a banner with very specific products, with a BIG label above it, such as "68 inch coffee tables in blond wood" than just "tables".
But then, this was always a better strategy and a better use of your site's real estate.

Now you can check what your payouts may be like under the new system

    log into EPN
    click Reports
    click Report Type
    select Quality Click Pricing Preview

my earnings seem much better, wait & see I guess..

Wow.. I guess I'm doubting what I'm seeing. Looks like reports are showing 8/18 to today. If this is the case, I'll be doubling my earnings???

    not impressed:

old system: epc:0.26 earnings this month: 14.27
new systeM: quality epc:0.07 new earnings this month: 3.60

Just when I was starting to get ebay down. I had a lead in there, seems to me
like this new system gets rid of lead payouts.... any other thoughts?

Did you factor in that the 'new system' started on 8/18 and not 8/1?

Chris, EPN didn't make this change to make less money, it was so they can make more.. Have you compared your EPC a few months back.. Meaning, my EPC 3 months prior was $.50, recently their tracking seems all out of whack, and my EPC is $.14 this month. Per their quality click pricing, they are going pay me $.07 per click, whereas Google Adsense pays me $.25 for othe same exact traffic. I have top 10 rankings for several keywords, so it's all from organic traffic (nothing blackhat).

Even if it doesn't go down initially, they can adjust what they pay you whenever they want.. It's totally biased, on what they feel like paying you.. Since they have their best interest in mind, you're doomed to get the short end of the stick.

my earnings under the new system will be 1/3 of what they are now. this blows. and what's frustrating is that i don't even know what to do to fix it.

For me the qulaity click preview stats for this month say I would have got 4 times less, though I've never really cottoned on to how to make good money with EPN. I know lots of people say it pays more the Google Adsense (or it did till now perhaps), but I don't get it myself - is that just by linking to products in articles or using BANS or PHPBay... or are they the numpty ways of earning with EPN, is there a better one?

EPN isn't worth signing up for anymore, so I wouldn’t waste your time. They just converted to a “pay per click” model, that pays less than Google Adsense. They word it as their Quality Click Pricing, which is basically a system to change your earnings to whatever they want to pay. EPN is going to pay about 1/4th of what is was paying before. This was verified with not just my account, but hundreds of other Affiliates, and 90% are being paid only a fraction of before, even though everything was white hat and quality traffic that converted.

ChrisBa, I noticed you actually market affiliate programs to new users, so you may be a little biased.
