You probably saw this message in your admin panel: Did anyone see a fall in clicks for that date? To be honest it was one of my highest days recently, hum-ho! But if I get a make-good I won't complain
No, I didn't notice a fall in clicks, about normal. However, I'm still cornfuzzeled over how eBay can still be having regular reporting issues. At least ones that they notice or let us know about. GARRRR frustrating. Still hate the fact that it's in house.
I had a strange fall in sales the day BEFORE that, a tracking problem could relate to tracking the activities of "our" visitors across eBay and therefore it would harm our EPC (no bids, no sales etc.) Somehow I doubt it will turn out to be that, though, and even if it was, would my EPC be corrected, rather than just an amount added to my account...? Hmmm... Bah, yeah, hard to believe that they can just suddenly have "issues", I mean, isn't the system up and running properly? How can an "issue" suddenly arise?
I just checked and my epc and GMB actually peaked by around 300% on the 13th, although my actual clicks were down around 10% I did actually make more so if I receive a make good then I will be happy. To be honest, I have no idea how they calculate epc or how "engaged" my traffic is. It does not seem to follow any trend associated with winning bids, ACRU, earnings at all. I am glad just to receive targetted traffic each month and a bank transfer follows.....
