Hey. I was on CJ, and i just realized that they switched over to eBay Partner Network. Well my site is hosted on blogspot, and with not alot of content, just one small articles with my CJ Codes for eBay encrypted in them. Thats how i got commission. Now, EPN is reviewing everyone application and i am afraid that they might not accept me because first, i have a free blogspot site, and second there is no content beside one article. I can buy a domain, thats no problem, but is there some script or something that can build up a nice looking website that ebay might accept fast? Can someone tell me what to do in order to get accepted on first try? Thanks alot.
I have used several scripts to build websites very fast and ebay has accepted everyone. You can take a look at a few reviews I had done at Niche Market Research to see if thats the type of thing you are looking for.
Just throw up Wordpress(blogging platform) and a nice theme. It's easy to install and they should accept you with a few articles up.
I have a link directory that has a category just for BANS sites. You can see a lot of sites there. Web Easy Links. Some are really good and some are just plain ugly but they do make a little money.
eBay is on auto approval for certain countries; at least it was when I signed up. 5 seconds later there was an approval email in my inbox.
Proximity, I don't know if you can re-apply if your rejected by e-bay. When you apply watch the options you select, for example if you tell them you offer incentives you will not be approved automatically & may be denied. What have you heard negative about BANS sites & ebay? I have a BANS site so I'd be very interested in reading it. By the way, watch your conversion rates. There have been countless complaints that they may be not-paying commissions on transactions that were getting paid before the conversion. I'm trying to figure out what happened to my conversion rate.
When you signup for EPN they ask for your website but it isn't required, when they ask about your marketing methods just tell them your doing "paid placement" (pay per click advertising) and you'll get approved.
