EPN Ebay Affiliate Program Niches And Products Worth Marketing

I have been on and off the ebay blog and discussion board working through the new earnings per click that went into effect not too long ago and while I was ready to move onto something bigger and better I decided to hold off and adjust my niches a bit.

Here are my thoughts, use them as you want.

Many ebay affiliates tend to NOT disclose what niches are big sellers simply due to competition BUT what many forget to think about is that, many who COULD compete odds are either already have tested your niche/products OR found something far more successful to market SO not really something to worry about.

I spent the last few nights researching new products and ebay categories that can and do generate decent income and sell ALOT and wanted to pass this information onto anyone wanting to apply these products to their ebay affiliate marketing effort.

All of my traffic comes from white hat organic seo'd traffic, I don't use ppc's even though I have done plenty with them over the years. eBay is a whole new bag altogether and really doesn't pay (especially with the new payment system) to try and pay for ANY traffic you send ebays' way.

If you don't currently market through the epn then I suggest you at least test market a few of the mentioned products below because they are selling pretty well and consistent WHICH looks to be what ebay is really after right now.

I use a few different sites myself that run either bans, wordbay or phpbay pro. I personally like how simple phpbay pro is especially since it is on the wordpress platform which takes seconds to setup and populate with quality products and hopefully even quality content alongside the auction listings.

    Ebay Items Worth Marketing
    -------------
Instruments are selling like mad especially right now. If you have ever done a "completed listings" search on ebay you odds are know how to source out hot sellers versus stagnant wastes of space. If you haven't heard of the "completed listings" search than pm me or post here and either I or someone will for sure fill you in.

Drums - electronic, acoustic, cymbals and accessories are selling non stop day in and day out.

Guitars - signed guitars are selling well as are a ton of startup and high end models.

Rat Rods - I have played around with this niche for a long time and have sold a TON of vehicles through it. The traffic is HOT, the niche is BURNING and there is real room for growth.

Bobbers and Choppers - Just like the rat rod scene, there is a huge bobber scene on ebay and people are buying these bikes up like hot cakes.

Established Websites - It can be hard to weed out the cookie cutter sites BUT since it isn't you buying them, this niche is selling sites left and right for those looking to make some money online. I think an established website phpbay pro site might be in order here. Hot Hot Hot

    -------------------------------

I have a list of over 500 top products that I am going to be working with on a ton of niche sites that I will be building over the next year (assuming ebay's payment and affiliate program beefs up a bit). If you want me to list other items worth taking the time to market feel free and contact me and I can toss a few other hot items your way.

Any other questions feel free and ask

I was thinking of turning my ebay affiliate sites into classified sites where people can pay to list items for sale. ePN is too unpredictable. Check their forums to read about the latest wave of bannings. It's really sad and pathetic. These people didn't even do anything wrong, they just got caught up in this new mathematical system ePN put in place.

I know all about it trust me, some people were weeded out and odds are there are plenty more on their way as well. Most bans whether by google adwords , ebay or other programs usually have SOME sort of reason to do so and most who get banned ALWAYS state "I did NOTHING wrong, help me fix my account".

I am not saying all those who are or have been banned did something wrong BUT it usually isn't always one sided.

Popular versus what actually makes the affiliates income right now are two different things. Repetitive buyers is what seems to pay off currently from what I am seeing versus hot one time buying products.

For instance, shipping items and anything that businesses buy all the time on ebay is a solid niche to build up as an affiliate site due to the repeat business that it would create.

Ebay Partner Network used to be worth it. After they made changes in October to their payouts, the profits made per day drastically decreased. I was making around a hundred per day and after they made their changes, I was lucky to make that in a month. I dropped the program.

I am new to EPN and was just wondering what to watch out for to keep from getting suspended. I am making pennies right now so they could only cancel me for lack of performance.. lol.

On a serious note may I ask how to find products that will beat my current .14 per click? I finally started getting clicks by using widgets, etc. but man it will take me a while to get any check worth mentioning at this rate.

Any good training's out there that might help me get going?

Thanks everyone. I did have one page that accidentally went through one of my traffic exchanges and I finally figured out where the spike came from. Is it okay to use EPN in traffic exchanges? I just don't want to get cancelled. This might be a pretty decent income stream if I can figure out the best way to generate some revenue. Thanks in advance. Sorry for so many questions. New to DP too!
