The shrinking of the glaciers since the 19th century is "the result of the atmosphere's natural warming, following volcanic eruptions for example and greenhouse gases, created by human activities, which have aggravated the situation further," he said.

Glaciers are growing cuz of global warming? Insanity. I thought glacial melting was the result of global warming, burying cities under water and all that crap.

It just goes to show that the planet is more complex than anyone understands and summing up "warming" issues as is done by activists is silly.

Researchers at Newcastle University looked at temperature trends in the western Himalaya over the past century.

They found warmer winters and cooler summers, combined with more snow and rainfall, could be causing some mountain glaciers to increase in size.
