I would just like to know what the bouce rate should be for a 'services' related website. The main page of my site has about 1000 unqiue visitor entries each month, out of which 60% exit off the same page (without navigating to the rest of the pages). Would this entry:exit ratio be normal? Do i need to remake the main page? Talker.
Without looking at your site or knowing your topic the following is the best I can do: I do think that's pretty normal, in a sense. People that come to your website on some general keyword aren't likely to turn into customers. But you should create the kind of content that gets people deeper into your site, instead of the homepage. Also - redoing your homepage so that it meets the expectations of your visitors is also a good idea.
