I have these two in my blog. Entrecard is bringing lots of traffic but BlogRush don't. However, Entrecard's traffic is not targeted and low quality because they came to my blog just to drop my entrecard
Blogrush ran on my site for about a month. I think the total visitors I got from it was 10...not worth the load time.
I like Entrecard for not only bringing new visitors to my site but I have found a dozen or so new blogs that I have added their RSS feed to my reader. I have found blogs that I wouldn't usually add to my reader that I think are interesting. Entrecard is a good way to "broaden your horizons." I thought I already knew all the blogs that I thought were popular in affiliate marketing but after surfing through Entrecard I found a few others that I have become a regular reader of. Most importantly by finding these new blogs I am constantly learning something new every day.
Entrecard traffic is junk traffic... I have an 87% bounce rate from there compared to 45% normally I think...
I had blogrush running on my site from the start but now cannot get them to accept my blog. Not suitable for network !!! There is nothing remotely offensive on it i may try entre as mentioned here.
I briefly used Blogrush and it sucked. BIG TIME. Entrecard is a lot better. I got 100+ visitors in one day from advertising on JoeTech.com.
Got to say that Entrecard is my favourite out of the two. This is pretty much by default as Entrecard is bringing me traffic - Blogrush didn't when I had it running.
BlogRush is a waste of space. Entrecard, however, has proved to be very beneficial to me. Like you said, some of that traffic is people coming to drop their cards - but not all of it. And Entrecard also provides huge opportunities to promote your site to new people and get exposure. Entrecard helps expand your readerbase. I wrote a review on Entrecard a couple days ago: http://superbloggingtips.com/2008/01/why-im-using-entrecard/
If any of you are interested, join the EntreCard Debate! And by the way, SuperBlog, have linked to your EntreCard review, it's pretty thorough and balances both arguments well.
