First - Thank You for creating this thread. First of all, I love what you are doing and can't wait to see what happens April 7th, but wanted to ask a couple of questions about the engine now and/or in the future.

    1. I used the paid inclusion feed for some of my websites, but I have never see any traffic from Entireweb or and other site within the shared network within my Google Analytics. I am based in the US and not sure if the engine is less focused on US traffic? Any insights or thoughts?

    2. Do you still support the free downloadable search engine (with Speedy Ads and shared revenue) at CitoSearch? Will it be updated with the new search engine launch?

    Hi Badlands07,

First of all, thanks for your support!

Regarding our paid inclusion service, this service does not affect your rankings in any way. It will help you get listed within 48 hours and then we guarantee that we will re-index your site (if needed) every 48 hours. To get higher up in the rankings, you will need to work hard optimizing your site against your competitors, just as today, but of course, with the possibility to see the results of your tweaks within hours. When it comes to US traffic, we have a large number of search properties based in the US using our results, so it's just a matter of getting higher up in the rankings. :)

Also, we still support our CitoSearch software, and this will be updated when the new search engine will be launched.

To learn more about our new search engine, please visit our blog at http://blog.entireweb.com.

Thank you for the updates - much appreciated. I did see on the EntireWeb site that it says you guys do 100 million monthly searches. What I do not understand is that Ask.com is a larger website in terms of overall traffic and they only do 60-90 million searches a month. So, how do you get to 100 million searches a month with EntireWeb? Are you including the search traffic from all your partner websites? If so, that is usually blended meta search data and not EntireWeb only data, correct? I ask all these questions because I run campaigns that many times spend tens of millions of dollars a year in paid ads across Google, Yahoo, Bing, Ask.co, LookSmart, AdMarketplace, AOL Sponsored Search, Vibrant Media, 7Search, ABC Search (Advertise.com), ISEDN, content/contextual networks, etc., etc. and was interested in using possibly including Speedy Ads and if you say you are larger than Ask.com, then I would like to put you to the test and compare my traffic opportunity and see if you really are that large. What are your thoughts?

You are absolutely correct. These 100 million searches per month includes the queries from our partner websites and there are currently many hundreds of websites in our search network. SpeedyAds, our contextual ad-network is growing very fast at the moment, and we highly recommend you to try this and compare it to similar networks.

    Hi checkblog,

Thanks for your support! Yes, the goal with this new search engine at Entireweb is to challenge the major search engines out there. We believe it's important to have more alternatives to the current market leaders. Keep your fingers crossed! ;)

We are ALL hoping you compete (and beat) the big boys. We want another quality search alternative for searching and advertising. One last question. How much search traffic (or how many searches) does EntireWeb receive each day?

    Wow.

EntireWeb is old-school. I remember I was the only person at school who used EntireWeb back in the early 2000's. I can't even believe you guys are registered here at DP.
Your search engine used to be an alright competitor, but since, I suppose as search engines and technology have evolved, you're no comparison to any of the big guys.

I hope you'll at least get your spot back in the top 100 or so. You guys used to be pretty unique to use as a casual and business user to search the web with.

Hey guys How do you earn money? Because you have zero ads on entireweb. There are also many sites on the web like addthis, tumblr with no ads. I always wonder How they earn money.

Badlands07: It's great to hear this and it makes us even more motivated to really give the "big boys" a good run for their money. Regarding our search traffic, we are getting aprox. 100 million search queries every month, and this includes both Entireweb and our search partners.

EGS: What a great story and thanks for your support! :) This time we may have something really unique on our hands, so keep your eyes open. ;)

checkblog: In fact we have ads from SpeedyAds, our advertising network showing on our SERPS, but other than that, it's just hard work to be able to provide good search engine related services and products.

I am sorry for not being more clear - what is EntireWeb's monthly search traffic, not inclusive of the search or network partners - just EntireWeb search engine alone.

We have always seen the search traffic as one source of traffic, which means that today, we do not have any exact numbers on the amount of queries that we get on Entireweb. (without alot of work) But of course, in this new search engine, we will divide these numbers in a better way.
