Entire Hosting company is offline http://www.theshosting.com/

I woke up this morning to find that non of my sites are online.
I rushed to the Hosting comapnay site to lay a complain and
found that the home page of the hosting company is also not
Online

is any body else hosting with them ? If yes are guys having
the same problem

For me too the page is working fine

 

A couple of things.

First off, this post in in the wrong section. It should be in the outages section not advertising.

Second, I have PMed you and emailed you regarding this. The access logs and ping logs show that we have been online the whole week without any interruptions in our service.

I think that your IP address may have been blacklisted in our firewall since you are unable to see your sites, but as me and others have seen, they are still online.

Please reply to my email or PM with the requested information so that we can get this resolved for you. We will not be able to whitelist you without this information.

 

There was definitely an outage. When I visited last night (following this post), the site was down for hours. There would be no reason for my IP to be blacklisted, as I have never visited your site before. Today, it's magically working fine.

 

Update : My sites are back online now and their homepage is also live . You mention my IP being blacklisted . Why will that happen ? I mean if that is the case

 

Again, it could be a number of reasons. Please PM me with your IP address so that we can check this for you. We have been logged into it for quite a while so it was not offline for us. @wswd also I am PMing you as well since you were able to replicate this.

 

Got the PM and replied. Would be interesting to know where the other guy is from. I'm in Southern California. Perhaps a routing issue with the datacenter?

 

Hi , I am addressing the Moderator of this Forum to please move this Thread to the right Forum . I thought posting on the Web Hosting Forum would be right but I see now that it is indeed the wrong forum. Above all the situation has been resolved.

 

We have identified the cause of this. It was a network routing issue with our datacenter that caused some internet service providers unable to access our servers while other internet service providers remained unaffected. This has been completely resolved.

 

Word of advice, I would be careful using these real small hosting companies as some start up one week and are closed a week later.

 

yea, that is true. i use the bigger and morn known ones.
