    Hi,

    I need some advices.

I own "entertainment site" with pictures of famous people and adsense is doing pretty bad for me.

I have between 10k-15k unique visitors daily and around 35-50k impressions.

Anyone have some suggestions what i should try. What networks or way to monetize that kind of site?

    Thx for help.

Maybe you can try running CPM banners on your site.

Pay per impression may work good for your site since you're getting such a large amount of traffic. PPC may not do as good (it depends, try testing it out) because of your audience and site niche.

Make your own product and sell it via the site.

To do that - you need to find your target audience. This is done by collecting an email list and then pushing a survey out to that list.

When you've got the data come back here and ask that very same question. You'll get a bigger response :)

I can help you if you're in need of some assistance - I've got first hand experiece of doing just this method.

    __________________________________________

Once you've got your data (it will probably be women) -then you need to look at products related to that demographic and then craft your own product OR simply sell the best selling other products out there.

With a site pulling that much traffic, you should have little problem getting sales if the product's right.

What you mustn't ever do is fill the site with ads because that is not just annoying but also seen by the general audience of the web as "unprofessional" and will likely damage your brand quite a lot.

    Just my thoughts

Contact other site owners to offer them a 30-day spot on your site for, say, $100 a month.

    10 advertisers is $250 a week.

Add more pages for more advertisers and double it.

Add even more pages and triple it.

But I would work on getting more visitors also.

    Thx you all for help.

Can you recommend some ad network which offer cpm ads but i wouldn't like to see those annoying "you are winner" type of ads. The best would be if you know some network which can offer targeted ads for entertainment sites (movies, music, shows,.... type of ads)

I am currently using Adsense and Blogads but i am not satisfied how much i earn. Adsense is doing very bad especially last few months.

I am literally in an identical situation. I'd be interested in hearing what others have to say too :) I can't do much worse with Adsense making $0.02 a click >:O

    Just another thing you might want to look into;
try making a few videos each month that's related to the topic of your site, upload to metacafe and you've got some easy cash if you post the video's on your site.

Probably not THAT much, but still it might be a few hundred dollars a month in extra income. And who doesn't want that?

    Just a thought though,
    greetz,

Have you considered a members only section, or a subscription for additional information etc...?

pm me the site and ill check out the layout etc and let you know how to bette monitize it because if you getting 10k uniques a day then you should be earning a nice amount from adsense.
