Entering bad credit card through web interface

One of our customers made a typo and entered a bad credit card number through the web interface. They did not receive any message concerning the bad card and instead received the message "Your account has been successfully updated" Their account was then suspended because we werent able to charge their card when they thought they updated their card successfully. They are pretty mad that they didnt receive a warning that the card they entered was a bad number.

I can see it is a bad credit card when I log into opti through filemaker however when I look at their account online there is no way to tell that the credit card is an invalid number. I am using Optigold version 3.35. Has this been fixed in another version or any plans on making it known that a bad number was entered?

I also wanted to say this isnt on a one time payment but to change their recurring card on file.

    Thanks

What type of credit card is it? Are you using the default web files for Optigold?

Yes, I am using the default web files for Optigold. The credit card is a Mastercard. Thanks!

Sounds good. I see the last update was last September. Is the 3.3.9 fix going to be ready soon? Thanks!

More like two Septembers ago!!! 3.3.9 is in a permanent holding pattern.

We also have the same issue, customer thinks their card was run, OPTI doesn't tell them otherwise, we then get an angry call from the customer.
