Ensuring Smooth Business within a Team

    I'm putting together a team for building sites for some local companies. I have myself and some designers that have expressed interest in this. Now, I also have a potential sales person to go out and talk to these places.

    I plan on offering a commission to the sales person, a % of each sale. A couple of questions...

    1.) What % should a sales rep receive?
    2.) What kind of written agreements can I use to ensure the sales person doesn't somehow go around me?
    3.) What else should I have set in place before moving forward?

    It really depends on how much you'll charge for the service and how much work that's required for each job. Without knowing this, then it would be pretty hard to provide you with a percentage.
