Ensuring legality before incorporating

I have an idea for a website.

I would like to incorporate for legal protection, split ownership issues, and tax reasons.

My website idea is different, and could be misconstrued as something borderline illegal.

What would be the best way to ensure that this idea is legal?

Should I contact a few local "business law" attorneys?

    Thanks.

You absolutely should consult a local attorney. A corporation isn't to going to protect you from criminal prosecution.

The information you have provided is fairly limited, and to ensure complete legality, it would be better for you to consult an attorney.

It is a good idea to find an attorney that is familiar with internet, you don't want just any old attorney you want some one that knows internet related law.
