Enquiry on backlink

I got a backlink on a website which is PR4. for almost a month

However when I search as link:www.myweb.com at Google.

It didnt come out that backlink and I checked the cache stored is already updated on that page already.


The backlink is normal without nofollow....

Why?

 

Because google updates their backlinks every blue moon just like PR.

 

Yeah, Google updates backlinks every 3 months. So while waiting for the update get more quality backlinks sooner you will see the effect on next google update.

I disagree.
Google does update their links all the time.
The issue is that the "link:" api by Google tricks us. This is an issue that has been around for years. Yahoo's "linkdomain:" is for real.
you can either use Google's administrator tools or use my tool at sheerseo .com to get the real data Google knows about.

 

Google are slow with updates...and IMO Google will only shows those quality and trusted backlinks that you have...

 

They are not slow on updates, they just don't give the information they have to you.
I also believe that toolbar Page rank is older than the real data they have.
They avoid giving exact data to webmasters to prevent spam.

 

If i get link on PR4 web.

Is the chance that I got PR3 is high?

 

Why do you want PR? Its an indicator. It wont bring you anything by itself. Get some traffic, work on your SERPs, get some quality backlinks from related sites and PR will follow.

For backlinks, you should buy some links from well indexed sites. Only PR site will not help.
Try to buy some well-indexed forum signatures or quality backlinked sites for a month or two and see the differnce. Check backlinks from whoever you are buying...

 

Spending $$ to upgrade PR. Another newbie mistake. Dont worry about PR. It really doesnt matter anymore.

 

I care it becuase I saw many posts there said it would more easy to rank higher in search engine like Google when the clients make search on it.
So it means high PR can gain larger traffic from SE search result???

don't take more care about your pr ,

first you should have high qulity content,search engine freindly web design and get more backlinks from related sites!

don't pay $ for your pr,300$ can buy more quality traffic!!!

now ,you have content ,have traffic, and then you'll have public praise,your site and your content will be indexed on more and more other sites,and pr follow^^^^
