enough to take a good stab?

    i have $160 to spend on adwords and start getting leads is this enough to get the ball rolling or should I add more?

    that really depends on how much your keyword cost for which position. also how many clicks you need to get one sale is important. but usually if you want to make some money from adwords, you need to spend a lot. they way it looks, you have 160 budget in total. if you had that much for a day, then you could try a campaign for some time. it takes time to get better with adowrds and start seeing some benefit. as adwords charge you not only based on your QS of the landing page, they also charge you based on your CTR and account history. for one keyword yu could be paying $3 (in a very competitive niche) at the beginning but for the same keyword you culd be paying $1 a month later due to your account history with adowrds. so unless you have a good budget and can stick with it for a while, you will not see the benefit

    I've heard of guys starting with $8 and now they do thousands per day.

    Start small and reinvest and you can start with anything you want really.

    Have a minimum of $5 to spend a day. If you want to spend more, it's up to you, but be careful it's easy to waste money on Adwords if you are new.
