I have been registering all my domains from godaddy till now but since i've heard so many reasons not to do so, i want to select one GOOD register to which i can stick forever, these are the once i have in mind from what i hear are the best- enom, namecheap Please suggest me which one according to you'll is the best?If not any of these, which registrar would you'll suggest?
What did you dislike about Godaddy? I have most of my domains with them except for domains that I bought at auction and have been happy with their service and prices.
If you do not have the discounted reseller account at enom, it can be very expensive to maintain your domain names. Namecheap is a good party to deal with and you get the benefit of enom as they are an approved and reliable enom reseller. GoDaddy is okay but just be sure you belong to a country which they would want to deal with. They do not mentioned it outfront and thus I found that Singapore (where I am from) is not permitted to purchase from them. Godaddy tends to try to sell you add-ons and stuffs so just be sure that you read what you are signing up for or else the bill can be overwhelming.
Have to say i buy all my domains from godaddy and the service and web site has been great. I know you can buy cheaper but its very easy to stick with godaddy and they are pretty good on the support side. I have herd that there hosting is pants. Domain names - yes Hosting - NO WAY !
GoDaddy is the best for domains! I only had experience with Godaddy and never had any problems with them and I think you wouldn't occur any problems with them.
Yahoo $1.99 is only for the first year but not for subsequent years. Also there are reports that it is almost impossible to transfer the domain name out of Yahoo.
Namecheap is best, it has a easy to use interface. You can also push domains to other user, I have almost all of my domain registered with them and I am happy with it
I have heard a lot about them, taking domain names down just like that etc, so i seriously dont wanna take any chances plus namecheap has free whois protection which i think is amazing...im transferring all my 10 domains from godaddy to namecheap soon If someone thinks i should not, please tellme...ill be doing this tommorow so i still have time
oh wait..there is no PERFECT registrar, is there? read this - http://www.namepros.com/legal-issues-and-disputes/289475-namecheap-problems.html#post1761210
Haven't you heard Madonna's "Nobody's perfect" , there can issue with any company. My friend has lost lost all his websites due to server's hard disk crash, this was his luck. Where your other domains are registered BTW? Just GoDaddy?
