Let domain name rego run out.

Spent 45 minutes on the phone to them from Australia to the USA only to get the call terminated before anyone picked up.

Spent another half hour on the phone and got a very vague and slow witted staff member when I did get through. At one point she actually said "sorry, I wasn't paying attention".... Told me it would take 10 minutes for her to put a process through to get the site back online. Still waiting 3 days later.

    Slow or no email responses.

On the phone to them again!

    Darren.

sorry to hear that. They have held all of my domains, well over 100 for me for about 4 years now with no issues. Hope you get this squared away.

Finally got through. Must have spent 2 hours in international calls on this one.

Having fired of 4 emails to this particular staff member, I get one of her associates on the phone, who goes and talks to her then comes back and tells me that she will get onto it. I ask for an estimated time and am told hopefully by close of business today. That's 8 hours away, and only "hopefully"....

    YIKES!

Oh my, I have a couple of domains with no transfer code at Registerfly but I read that eNom can sort the transfer without such code if the Whois says they are the ICANN registrar for such domains and yes, they are.

but after hearing about eNom's "excellent" customer support service I guess I will leave those domains in their old boat until it sunk.

Someone told me that after March 31 Registerfly will be sold to... Google?
I don't see how or why, but there is not much to do anyway, just wait whatever it comes.

    Pat,

if you go to enom I'd suggest you set up your own free acct which allows you full control over the domains - then you'll probably be fine. My domains were not in my own free acct, so I didn't have that control. They are now!

My problem has finally been fixed after having the site offline for 3 days.

    Darren.
