I've been trying to get my refid page indexed since I started as well.. no luck yet, though they've added about 15 new ones recently.
I always wondered why people linked their chitika ID to chitika instead of a page on their site to get that ranked. I hate when affiliate links get indexed.
How does that happen? Is there an art to getting your referral link in the SERPs? Or is there something Chitika could do to fix that?
Shouldn't the refferel ID start with https and then have mm_overview.php in it? or is it just what's after the refid= which gives credit?
It is Google's problem. I assume all you have to do is have a few high-PR links pointing at your refid with the keyword "chitika" as the link text. If it is enough power, you'll outweigh the real home page. I'm not sure if linking to any other page besides mm_overview works or not. You definitely don't need the https.
It would be nice to think Chitika puts our refid's on rotation for Google's top spot. How great would that be?
Personally, I have no problem with any of the Google.co.uk results for "Chitika" Or even for "eMiniMalls". I'm working on the dot com but the smart guys got there first!
