English version website shows Chinese ads

I build a English version website for my Chinese site.But the English site still shows Chinese ads.Can anybody tell me why?

does the english site has chinese keyword in it?

or because you are living in China/Taiwan/Hong Kong so targetting will be shifted to advertisers interested in your country's traffic which might some local chinese company in your country ...

i suggest you try the google adsense preview tool (only work in IE ><) with it you can select the ads that could be shown in different country.

 

If the content is primarily in English, wait a little bit for the bot to crawl and pick up English keywords.

 

it was happened to me as well but after updating regularly it gone away

 

My English site is entirely built in Enlish with wordpress.
And I have test the ads show in other countries with the adsense preview tool .The ads are still Chinese.
I guest maybe the ads are targeted based on the domain because the Englisn version site was built not very long time.

 

In webmaster tools you can now set geographic preferences. Give that a try and see if it helps make the transition faster.

when the adsense bot visits the site,the ads will turn into english.it could take a few days.

 

If you are from China, you will see ads in china.
What is the URL? we can check it for you.
