Writing in English is much easier than speaking. I think it’s quite tough to understand and speak good English if it’s not your native language. But it’s not impossible at all to learn English very well if you can give a lot of effort to it. You may follow what I did to improve my English little bit: Study English grammar. Watch movies with subtitles. Listen to the songs understanding the lyrics, so you’re able to sing those English songs perfectly in your mind. Watch English news channels and read newspapers. Speak in English with your friends and colleagues. Write a lot. Good luck.

The most effective ways of learning English is: Reading English books, Reading English websites, Listening to English radio, etc. They are all ways that help you learn a new language, quicker!
"Listening to English radio" ha ha ha......There is no channel to cover on opposite side of the earth
Haven't you thought about using Online Radio ( it will not turn off just because of your location ) ?
I just remembered ,Because seldom use the radio of the network But I would rather see more English films
English is not much hard it depends up to you! I prefer you to try create an English Conversational Environment in which try to use Grammatical Basics! You will definitely improve by time
Hehehe...this suggestion (listening to English radio) came from an English guy ! Just look at his/her location, s/he is from United Kingdom.
You can already write English better than many English people. I have got friends who learned how to speak good English simply from watching American and English movies, so try that.
Right guyz, Actually I am also suffering from this condition. My English is also poor. Please provide me that source which can improve my English.
Indians in call centers do speak pretty good English. However, their English does have some weak points, I suppose mainly since English is their second, third, etc language and not their native language. When I talk to someone in a call center, I can ALWAYS tell whether they are Indian or not. One of the phrases Indians use that drives me up a wall is "May I know your name?" I just plain do not understand WHY they need permission to know who I am. But since they are asking for permission my standard reply is either "Yes, you may know my name" or "No, you may not know my name." *************************** One of the methods common in Japan for learning English words, spellings, and meanings is to solve English crossword puzzles. Crossword puzzles won't help you with conversational English, but they will help you learn how to spell English words and what the various meanings of English words are. ***************************
It's called business ethics ! "Howdy, what's your name buddy. I got drunk yesterday lol !" - that's how it should sound ?
Thats why I bank with natwest, who pride themselves on UK call centres. I actually have to hang up the phone if i get through to an idian call centre while trying to sort something out. I get very stressed because they cannot understand me, yet i'm answering what they want. Not my fault they don't know what they want.
just hang around forums you dont need to talk in english.... every one down london is to busy trying to get on the tube and every one up north will just confuse you with heavy slang. hell if you go to west they talk in welsh and if you go down south there all looking for harvesters the worst thing you could do is go right up north they dont where underpants there!
