Selling England Car Flag Website [Proven - World Cup 2010 + Potential: Olympics - 2012]

Hi there,

I am selling my website, www[.]englandcarflags[.]com. I am selling because I will no longer have time to run it when I go to University in the coming weeks.

Although traffic is low and monthly revenue is zero. It has made LOADS of money before - during the world cup. During this time I sold 75 flags and 21 wristbands. This gave me a revenue of over £150.

This was with minimum advertising as the domain itself ranked #1 for the keyword 'England Car Flags' during much of the tournament. I think that I would have sold many more had England progressed further in the competition.

Since the world cup in 2010 I have not done any work on the site, so it is as it was. However, the site still ranks in the top 3 for the previously named keyword.

With the Rugby World Cup starting today and the London Olympics coming soon next year, this site is sure to be a winner as it is seasoned and already ranks exceptionally well.

I was regularly contacted by companies offering me deals for huge volumes of flags (10,000+) suggesting my website looked much more large scale than it was. Obviously I have some stock left so I can send this to the winning bidder.

Finally, this business works excellently as people all over the UK wanted my flags, as well as people in Europe (ex-pats of the UK), who couldn't get them in there country. Therefore, it could be a good route to take - targeting the selling of these flags in Europe.

This is really interesting and a great idea so well done getting it set up and working!

Do you have details of cheap suppliers for the flags/wristbands that would be included for the winning bidder to continue the business?? I'd love to give it a go but obviously the obtaining of stock is the concern for me.
