Hi To All Is it engg degree is sufficient for getting job? My openion is not sufficient for getting job. What u say? Thank you!
Well in my point of view is not about stupid degrees is about skills so if you have skills and are smart you don't need degrees
Why not? The basic current path for most engineers seemed to be starting from engineers then towards managers and beyond. Engineering field is one of the easiest to get a job in.
I think Engg Degree is not sufficient 4 job if you are so called 'intellectual engineer'-who only reads and reads and knows nothing about the outside world. You have to be smart, presentable and offcourse hard working.
By Engineer I refer to those that had completed an accredited engineering degree and is recognized by the Institute of Engineers and are member of the Institute of Engineers. If you study engineering under a bachelor of science, I think this will be quite different.
Degrees are about opening doors for you, what you do afterwards is about skill. You can have all the skills in the world but a lot of companies won't talk to you unless you have a degree
I wasn't even thinking about govt jobs, I was just thinking about the private marketplace, office jobs in general. That's how life is you either adapt, survive and do well or you stay behind
Do MbA also<What is your barnch/stream btech ,If it is computer science and engg/. then no security for software they may fall ,So do MBA
For doing a job no degree is required. you need a good ass which can be fucked. Otherwise its a subjective matter to discuss.
Which Branch. If U are a computer Engineer Try Joining Some Institutes and learn some programming. It will help. Engineering Degree is sufficient.
I think its not sufficient for getting a job. U have to be smart and u need to have skills also. I think without a degree no company will call u for an interveiw. So Engg degree is necessary for getting a job not sufficient.
Put it this way. I know a guy with a Masters degree in Computer Science, or some form of equivalent to that. Without experience, no computing firm wants him. With that degree, he's "over qualified" for smaller jobs, including McDonald's (whom provided the quote no joke.) Degrees are all theories. You learn how things theoretically should work in real life. You need experience to learn how things work in reality.
True experience matters, but I would rather be an over qualified with a degree then under qualified with no degree. Sooner or later your friend fill find a job
Well, whatever floats your boat. He's been out looking for a related job for nearly 9 months. Something tells me, although I am currently studying for my degree, I'm happier with the work I am doing now than I will be if I was to follow the full route of my degree and get a job in that category. The majority of people won't put a degree to good use, anyway. You can even see some examples on DigitalPoint, guys claiming to have a degree, yet they run a few proxy sites to make $5 a month from Adsense? Hah!
