I just received this email, in attention to all those running Fedora Core 2/4 servers at Godaddy, look forward to upgrading your boxes...
Since they are making you get a new VPS in a since I would suggest against using Fedora again. It is a desktop operating system and not a server. You should be able to upgrade all aspects of Linux without a reformat. Fedora does not do this, to upgrade you have to reformat. It is just a poor distro. If you are looking to get the same functionality on the server side I would suggest going with CentOS. It should function very similarly, it is just built to be a server. With CentOS you should not have to go through this each time they put out a new version, you will just be able to upgrade all of the software.
Thanks, Chickens. I am actually considering a new server since I have to go through the reupload process and stuff. I'll just go ahead and order a CentOS machine this time.
