    Blogging will flourish outside the US then since a lot of bloggers live in other countries.. they most probably wun be bothered about the FTC

    I agree with this completely. Any blogger can claim they actually did use the product before reviewing it. Honest bloggers already mention their commercial affiliation when blogging about a product or writing a product review.

    This law does cover "make money fast" schemes. In fact, I think the law was primarily intended for testimonials and reviews for money making schemes. It's a shame the FTC has to get involved because people are to naive to use common sense when making a buying decision. I do think there is a need for the FTC but in this instance I think they are being a bit petty.
