encryption in php

    hey,

    i need to do some encryption. it isn't sensitive infomation at all (it is just a url that is sent in the form of out.php?url=$encryptedurl). at the moment i am just base 64'ing it. is there anything quick that is built in to php that i can encrypt/decrypt with a pass?

    that is exactly what i am not after. md5 is hashing, not encyption
    i need to be able to decrypt too...
    thanks anyway though.
