Encrypt Link

    I notice that when I'm creating my affiliate link I'm often given the option to encrypt it. Why would it be advantageous for me to do this in lieu of just having my regular link?

    I believe it's used to protect your affiliate ID so no one can steal your commissions.

    It's a way to make your link less identifiable when it comes to displaying your publisher ID. Commission theft wouldn't be achievable just by the display of the ID.
