Rules Enabling Sale of Social Bookmarking

I Want to know that why is sale of social bookmarking services not allowed at digitalpoint forums.

 

due to the spamming nature of social bookmarking, it was decided to discontinue allowing folks to offer that service.
this rule has been in place for over 18 months and will remain in place.

 

How is the nature of Social Bookmarking Spamming ? I did not get you..

 

You may not sell links, etc. on sites you do not own because you cannot control whether or not the links actually stay. The 3rd party nature does mean much of it is spamming (even according to the TOS of some of the services themselves, who don't want users adding all of their own links, hiring people to do it, etc. to manipulate the system), and DP does not allow sales of services that are related to spamming.
