enabling Rich Text Editor and HTML codes in social network

    Hello,

Guys, do you think that I should enable Rich Text Editor In my social network?

For example, let's take hi5.com.. It let's user add HTML codes, add glitter comments, and smiles for blogs/ profile comments.. etc.

    But what about facebook?..

Facebook is more clean, it doesn't let user put HTML codes.. or even it won't let you make the text BOLD in commenting.

It won't let you change background or layout, or even it won't let you put HTML codes in comments.

    So my question is...

    - Which way is better, Hi5.com way.. or Facebook's Way?

I don't like enable HTML codes or having Rich Text Editor, because of security reasons..

    - So am I going to lose users if I disable rich text editor function and HTML codes?

    Please help guys,

    Thanks in Advance...

    Thanks
