Any thoughts? I think I have it enabled but it won't let my users add them still.

Also I have 0 in my default. Where should I get these?

Is there a way to mass impor them? I can only see adding 1 at a time. There must be a bulk import. Anyone?

    Thanks,
    Rob

You can upload them via FTP, CPANEL or some other means to a specific folder (images/avatars bu default), then once you have them all up log into your AdminCP.

From there AVATARS > ADD NEW AVATARS > ADD MULTIPLE AVATARS

fill in the blanks and there ya go...

Like a charm, I knew there had to be away... adding 6500 by hand just won't cut it.

    Thanks again.

    lol, RTFM...

ACP > AVATARS > AVATAR MANAGER > AVATAR GROUP > AVATAR PERMISSIONS

Keep in mind that custom avatar can and do override default sizes and shapes. It's also actually advised to make sure your avatars are compressed. I downloaded soem free ones, opened them all into Photoshop to make them the same size and then resaved them. Some of them I chopped down 90% of the filesize without actually altering the size of the image!

I'm there, everything is set to yes. Just anyone other than admin doesn't have the option for custom avatars. I've done some due dligience and played around the avatar section for a while. Still no luck.

Is HTACCESS, folder permissions, or something else stopping others from viewing the actual folder where the avatars are kept?

Allowing avatars is checked. I'm guesing maybe it's the .htaccess?

Also all are set to YES under vb options vb options User profiles.

    Bizzare.

Are you aware of any conditionals that might be in effect that do not allow custom avatars?

Check the .htaccess for any special rules.
Instead of looking at avatars, look at usergroup settings.

If only admin can add them, this sounds like a usergroup setting.

Usually, .htaccess does not have anything to do with avatars unless you screwed around with that in the beginning....

Look at the settings for usergroups 2...registered members.

Make sure you make the settings so that mods, and super mods and whomever can have them.

    Not just usergroup 2.

    Thanks for the rep!

    Cheers.
