    Hi there. I'm kind of new in this topic, but I need some guide to set up apache with SSL in a local environment. I have my server and application ready (Centos 6, Apache 2.2), but I'm not sure about:

    1. The info I must input when I create the crt file, specifically the common name. If I'm going to access the web server with the local ip address, should I use the IP as the common name? or how does it work?

    2. I'm not sure what to put in the Virtual Host Settings in the httpd.conf file

    I appreciate any help with this,

    Hi, I finally could do it, thanks, but maybe someone could tell me if there's a way that browsers don't show the warning about untrusted site when the certificate is self-signed?
